Biotrue multi-purpose solution is used, as recommended by eye-care professionals, for the daily moisturizing, cleaning, removing of deposits, rinsing, chemical disinfection and storage of silicone hydrogel and soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses.
The Biotrue multipurpose solution is based on numerous recommendations from eye-care professionals and extensive scientific research into the natural mechanisms that help maintain eye health. As a result, the solution is formulated to be similar to natural tears, and its effect feels just like natural tears.
Biotrue has the same acid-base balance as natural tears and contains moisturizing and lubricating substances similar to those found in eye tissue. Therefore, using the solution helps prevent the breakdown of natural proteins.
For healthy and comfortable contact lens wear, we recommend cleaning your contact lenses every day. Apply three drops of the solution to each lens and gently rub it in circular motions for at least 20 seconds. Then rinse both sides of each lens, place them in a contact lens case filled with fresh Biotrue solution, and leave them to soak for at least four hours. The solution in the lens case should not be reused.
Following these steps helps keep your contact lenses clean and fresh while providing a comfortable feeling throughout the day.
